Day 4 - The Early Bird Gets The Worm

This morning I went to Alcazar castle to film a timelapse of the sunrise. When I arrived at the location the sprinklers had been turned on all over the field I planned to shoot on. I moved to a spot where the sprinklers were off and set the camera for a timelapse. There were all kinds of birds flying around, some looking for worms, others rustling in the trees. 

About midway through there was another photographer by me just as another set of sprinklers turned on closer to us. We didn’t say a word but just looked at each other with a face of unease and smiled. Language wasn’t necessary as we both communicated our hope that the sprinklers directly under us wouldn’t turn on next just by a quick glance at each other. Luckily they did not turn on and we were able to capture a complete timelapse. We shared a brief moment of relief then went our separate ways.
